Owsley "Bear" Stanley

was a sound engineer and former notorious LSD cook who was reportedly the first to manufacture large quantities of the drug. His high-quality LSD, often given away for free, became plentiful in the San Francisco area during the mid '60s.

Who? Why the girl on the cover of The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan, of course. Died in Feb. but not sure of what. Funny how you have to pick up info from the internet, because it sure never made it to the local paper here(of course).

RIP: JANE RUSSELL

At the age of 89, though I would have guessed she was older. Made famous by Howard Hughes who put her in movies and had a bra specially designed for her. Made movies with the likes of Bob Hope & Marilyn Monroe and pretty much retired from films in her 30s.

So here's to you Jane (and your two best assets also...)
