The Big Man, on June 18th from a stroke suffered earlier in the week. Now there's a sideman who will be sorely missed. Saw him with the Boss in the late 70s; back in the days of 4-hour+ Springsteen shows, and you could tell there was a real friendship between the two of them.Saw Clarence a few years back on his solo tour when he played at Chuch Street in Orlando, and that was a good time too.
Sorry to see you go Clarence, "You're A Friend of Mine" as the song goes...
