Listening to this just now, reminds me this was the first cassette I ever bought (and for the longest time it was the only cassette I owned!) Didn’t have a real cassette player at home or in my old Rambler Classic, so I bought a Radio Shack Realistic portable cassette player/recorder (sorta like the one pictured below). No adapter though, so just bought lots of batteries while I cranked that tinny sound.
Still have the cassette (and still play it occasionally in my Echo (bought it with a tape deck!)) except now the case (remember the hard plastic snap-case with the album info glued on?) has Doug ‘Cosmo’ Clifford’s autograph. A really nice guy, by the way, and an incredible drummer...
