1938 - Jan.20, 2012: R&B singer who was perhaps best known for her song "At Last" which apparently is played at many weddings these days, including my daughter's. Which is where I heard it for the first time (4-1/2 years ago!). Coincidentally, she was discovered by Johnny Otis ("Willie & the Hand-Jive") who died 3 days ago.
