by Graham Masterton: Used to read quite a bit of his, but nothing recently until I picked up this 1999 novel. Quite creepy and odd. An old house, an HP Lovecraft monster (Cthulhu), a mysterious creature,ancient Sumerians, a picture with moving figures, and many other events that will make you nervous if you read this alone at night with only one light on! The only disappointment about this book is the cover. When you read this book, you will get a quite distinct picture of what the house looks like - unfortunately, it's not the one on the cover...
But a good book, nonetheless, and a great read for horror fans.
