Yep, that was it...the oldest ornament box in the world. Probably 35-40 years old, originally belonged to my father-in-law, Irv Watz. And passed on down to us years ago, it's now passed on to the great recycler in the sky, falling victim to old age and Florida attic heat; finally crumbling into ruin this year. But the reason it lasted as long as it did was that it was wax-coated cardboard, which made it stronger and relatively bug-proof. Yeah, sure gonna miss that box...just because...
