1943 - Oct.5 2011: A highly influential singer-songwriter,Bert Jansch was one of the
cornerstones of the British folk revival of
the ’60s. He was cited as an influence
by no less than Neil Young,
Jimmy Page, and Paul Simon.
He was also a founding member of
British folk-rock group Pentangle from
1967 -1973, and rejoined the other four
original members for a 12 date
English tour in 2008.
