Subject: Tough times hit maker of Twinkies
The maker of Twinkies, the well-known cream filled sponge cake, files for bankruptcy protection in the US, citing the economic downturn." Now this is a terrible thing, since Twinkies have been one of my favorite snack foods since I was little. Remember a few years back they had the banana creme filled ones...? Even better! And of course, that fair food favorite - deep-fried Twinkies (especially dipped in a strawberry batter...oh, I"m starting to drool... So c'mon, skip your diet at least one day a week and have twinkies for lunch!! (or breakfast or dinner (or both)) |
