STEVE MILLER BAND: 5/26/07

At Cypress Gardens Saturday nite. Really good show, after a slow start with his
opening song. It was a hit song (don't remember which), but it dragged on 15-20
minutes with everybody getting a solo spot; way too early in the show for that!
But once he got past that the tempo picked up, and the rest of the show was
really good. He had Norton Buffalo playing harmonica with him, apparently he's
been with Steve for 31 years!
Show lasted about 90 minutes, and they had a surprisingly large crowd, one
of the largest I've seen there for non-country music (this being Polk County
Florida); that was good, maybe we'll get even more Classic rock concerts
next year.
