Watched the first game of the Stanley Cup finals last night (go Ottowa!)
and they opened in Anaheim, home of the (no longer Mighty) Ducks.
Sold by Disney, almost new name, new logo, and they won last night(boo!)
But, the scary part was Steve Stills singing the American Nat'l Anthem!
The man is undeniably talented as a guitarist/songwriter, but apparently
he was not the harmonic one in CS&N. And apparently his voice HAS NOT
improved with age, as his performance last night was off-key and fairly
horrid.
So Steve, next time someone asks you to sing the anthem in front of
millions of people...please, please, please tell them you have laryngitis! You
did no credit to yourself or the U.S.of A. with that performance last night.
And that goes for anyone else who may have been a singer at one time,
if you no longer have the voice for it...
JUST SAY NO!!
