RIP: SPACE SHUTTLE CHALLENGER

21 years ago today, the largest U.S. Shuttle disaster. I actually remember
where I was when this happened, sitting in the lobby at the Owens-Illinois
plant where I worked at the time. Was reading a book, and the radio which was always on in the background was covering the shuttle launch.
Remember hearing the lift off, and then the unbelievable news. I even
remember that for a very short while there was a hope that some of the astronauts may have survived. But, of course, they didn't.
So a moment of silence for fallen heroes, these and the other astronauts
who died in the line of duty.
