TAG SALE

First off, it sucked, spent 6 hours in the heat and only made $45.00. Yeah, it sucked, won't be doing that again for a long,long while. And while we're on the subject, why don't they call it 'tag sale' everywhere (like we did up north)? Down here in Florida, we call it yard sale, garage sale, carport sale, porch sale, estate sale, etc. Unless it's in a church, or community clubhouse, then it's a rummage sale. I do like rummage sale, though, because I do like to rummage around for stuff (stuff good - me like stuff).
Anyway, the real reason for this post is this. After our yard sales, we go through the leftovers and decide what to keep for next time, and the rest goes to the Salvation Army (NOT Goodwill - they're a ripoff). The odd thing is, however, that they won't take computer printers ("Too hard to sell"), but they will take typewriters (?????). And, they won't let the employees take them if you want to give it to them (unless they sneak it to their car).
Which seems kind of like the dog in the manger;
and if you don't know what that is, shame on you.
